SC Workshop For Expatriate Communities 'Best Practices In The Media Sector'

Under Supreme Committee For Delivery & Legacy, State of Qatar Outreaching Program, a Workshop was conducted recently in collaboration with AlJasoor Institute focusing on those community members who are passionate about the Media sector and its development.

Workshop explored the best practices for covering major sporting events from a journalist’s perspective. Objective of the workshop was to educate, empower and support the talented people from expatriate community who will build outstanding and sustainable sports and events industries in Qatar.

' Best Practices in the Media Sector" held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre covered a number of topics relating to media coverage including the most effective methods for covering an event, placing stories in regional and international publications, and the importance of building relationships as a sports journalist.

Andy Elliott, a media consultant for UEFA with wide experience in covering world major sports conducted the workshop.
