The Belgian Business Club together with the Qatari Business Women Association is organizing a high profile event on 5 March 2017 ahead of International Women’s Day.
The evening event will gather a number of important business women in Qatar including Mrs. Aisha Alfardan, Vice Chairwoman of QBWA and will take place at the Residence of HE Christophe Payot, Ambassador of Belgium to Qatar and Honorary Chairman of the Belgian Business Club.
The event will commence with the official signing of an MoU between the QBWA and the Belgian Business Club with a view to strengthening their relationship in the pursuit of their respective missions and mandates and so as to achieve greater results.
The event will then continue with a panel discussion about gender parity related topics such as participation of women in the workforce, challenges and opportunities for women in Qatar and possible strategies to close the gender gap in Qatar.
Participants in the panel include Melanie Dunn, speechwriter to HH Sh. Moza’s office, Mishael Al Ansari, Marketing and Communication Director for the Anti-Doping Lab Qatar and QBWA Board Member, and Nadia Al Haroon, Senior Performance Analyst at QP.
The panel discussion will be followed by a short presentation by Miss Moza Al Naemi about QSTP's Product Development Fund, which is a new financing mechanism to encourage the development of innovative products and/or services by SMEs in Qatar.
