Qatar: President of Nepal Met Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Visited Qatar Foundation

Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) and Chairperson of 'Education Above All' (EAA), met on Tuesday morning with Bidya Devi Bhandari, President of  Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal .

During the meeting, they discussed areas of potential collaboration in education and research with Qatar Foundation, and explored ways to increase education access for out-of-school children in Nepal through EAA's projects.

Present on the occasion was Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation.

 

As per press release from Qatar Foundation (QF),  Mrs. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, President of Nepal was welcomed on arrival in Education City by Mrs. Machaille Al-Naimi, President of Community Development, QF, who accompanied the delegation to the open-air viewing platform situated on the eighth floor of QF HQ. President of Nepal was briefed on various education, science and research, and community development entities of Education City.

President of Nepal was presented a gift by Mrs. Al-Naimi on the conclusion of her tour,

Visiting Nepali President signed on the Visitor's book to commemorate her visit.
