Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani addressing to media on Tuesday night said that the State of Qatar witnessed was an act of state terrorism carried out under Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing it as part of a deliberate policy to destabilize regional security. He characterized it as a clear message to the region that Israel is acting as a rogue player engaged in ongoing political recklessness and systematic violations of sovereignty.
His Excellency noted that, under the direction of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatari security, civil defense, and other authorities immediately responded to the attack, which took place at 3:46 pm, containing the situation, documenting casualties, and taking steps to ensure public safety. 

The State of Qatar commands widespread respect and holds a special place in the hearts of people across many regions of the world. Internationally recognized for its role as a neutral mediator, Qatar has consistently provided platforms and resources to support the resolution of conflicts around the globe. Beyond its diplomatic efforts, Qatar is also acknowledged as a philanthropic nation dedicated to serving humanity through key initiatives such as Education for All, the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), Generation Amazing, among others.

Following a series of telephonic engagements from global leaders—including the Secretary General of United Nation; Presidents of the United States, Turkiye, Iran, Indonesia, Iraq, Colombia, Rwanda, Venezuela, and Uzbekistan; the Prime Ministers of Pakistan, India, Ethiopia, and Hungary; the King of Spain, and the leadership of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) among others—messages of solidarity poured in. Several friendly nations either directly contacted Qatar’s leadership or issued formal statements condemning the recent bombing, describing it as a cowardly act by Israeli forces. These gestures reflect the strong international support and solidarity extended to the State of Qatar during this critical time.

Following are the statements issued by various embassies:

Statement issued by the Embassy of Gambia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, on behalf of the Government and people of The Gambia, strongly condemns the recent Israeli airstrikes on the State of Qatar, which resulted in loss of lives, destruction of property, and heightened insecurity in the Gulf region.

The Gambia views this attack as a violation of international law, the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, and the fundamental principles of the Charter of the United Nations. Such actions within a sovereign state by another sovereign state undermine peace and security in the Middle East and beyond.

The Government of The Gambia expresses its deepest solidarity with the leadership, Government, and people of Qatar during this difficult time. The Gambia stands firmly with Qatar in safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

The Ministry further calls on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council and relevant regional organizations, to take urgent and decisive measures to prevent further escalation, ensure accountability, and work towards the protection of civilians and the restoration of peace.

The Gambia reaffirms its unwavering commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and peaceful coexistence among nations and remains committed to global and regional efforts aimed at preserving peace, security and stability in the Middle East Region.

Statement issued by the Embassy of Guyana

The Government of Guyana joins the international community in condemning the unilateral bombing by the Israel Defence Force in Doha, Qatar, approximately one mile from the Guyana Embassy. This violent act is a flagrant violation of international law and a direct assault on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the State of Qatar.

Guyana strongly believes that the unilateral military strike in Qatar does not help the cause in ending the war in Gaza nor of achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.

The State of Qatar has been a consistent ally in fighting terrorism and has been instrumental in working closely with the United States and Egypt to bring about a diplomatic solution to the war in Gaza. We therefore stand in full solidarity with the Amir and people of the State of Qatar. Guyana urges full respect for international law and support for allies working to end the war in Gaza and combatting global terrorism.

Statement issued by the Embassy of Italy

I have just sent a message of solidarity to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdel Rahman Al Thani, and to the Qatari people.
The attacks have violated the sovereignty of a friendly country that has been working for months to stop the war in Gaza and to help Israel recover the hostages still held by Hamas terrorists.

A ceasefire, negotiations, and a permanent truce are a necessary path to avoid a new, even more devastating and dangerous crisis for the entire Middle East.
On this path, Italy continues to support and encourage Qatar.

We are convinced that diplomacy and dialogue remain the key way forward toward a just and lasting solution to the conflict—one that will finally allow both the Israeli and Palestinian peoples to achieve peace, in a framework of security for all.

Embassy of the Japan released following a message from Japan Foreign Minister Iwaya Takeshi remarks 

On September 9 (local time), Israel announced that it carried out an attack targeting Hamas leaders staying in Doha, Qatar.  The realization of a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages are urgent priorities. While serious diplomatic efforts are being pursued by relevant countries, including Qatar, Japan strongly condemns this attack as Israel’s action undermines those efforts and threatens Qatar's sovereignty and security, and consequently jeopardizes regional stability.

He reaffirmed Japan's solidarity with Qatar and once again strongly urges Israel to immediately return to negotiations and to work in good faith towards a ceasefire and the release of hostages.

Peace and stability in the Middle East are of paramount importance to Japan. Japan urges all parties concerned to refrain from any actions, including acts of terrorism, that could undermine regional stability, and strongly calls for de-escalation of tensions.

The government of Japan is determined to make all necessary diplomatic efforts in order to prevent the further deterioration of the situation, while taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of Japanese nationals in the region.

Statement issued by the Embassy of Malaysia

Malaysia condemns in the strongest possible terms the Israeli airstrikes on Doha. This wanton act of aggression is a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a grave breach of international law. It recklessly endangers civilian lives, strikes at the very heart of a sovereign capital, and threatens to inflame an already fragile region.

By targeting Qatar—a nation central to mediation and dialogue in the Middle East — Israel has shown utter contempt for peace and diplomacy. Such an assault is indefensible and intolerable.

Malaysia stands in full solidarity with Qatar and calls on the international community to hold Israel accountable for this outrageous aggression.

Statement issued by the Embassy of Panama 

The Republic of Panama condemns yesterday’s attack on Qatari territory. This act constitutes a serious violation of international law and the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, in particular respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.

Panama recognizes the essential role that Qatar plays in promoting dialogue, mediation, and active diplomacy, which are fundamental values for global peace and stability.

The Republic of Panama reaffirms its solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people, and urges that efforts be redoubled in favour of peaceful coexistence, the negotiated  resolution of differences and the strengthening of international rule of law.

Statement posted on X Account by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan issued by the Ministry of Foreign Ministry

In addition to the telephonic conversation held by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan issued the following statement: "Pakistan expresses its full solidarity with the brotherly State of Qatar in the face of this unprovoked and unlawful act of aggression. 

Pakistan condemns in the strongest possible terms the Israeli aggression against the brotherly country of Qatar. This highly provocative and reckless action constitutes a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty as well as international law, the UN Charter, and the established norms governing interstate relations.

This reckless action by Israel is yet another manifestation of its continued disregard for international peace and security, and its policy of destabilising the region. Pakistan has consistently maintained that such impunity must not be tolerated by the international community. We reaffirm our principled position in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar, and call upon the international community to hold Israel accountable.

Pakistan will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the brotherly people and the leadership of Qatar in defence of their national sovereignty and security.

Statement issued by Embassy of Thailand

Thailand denounces the airstrike on a residential building in Doha on 9 September 2025. Such an act constitutes a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

This unlawful use of force serves only to heighten regional tensions and undermine the stability and safety not only of the State of Qatar but of the wider region as a whole.  It also poses a direct threat to international peace and security.

Thailand reaffirms its principled stance against all forms of violence. We stand in full solidarity with the Government and people of the State of Qatar in their efforts to safeguard peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Qatar Condemns the Israeli Attack

The Republic of Türkiye in Qatar, represented by its Ambassador Dr. Mustafa Göksu, strongly condemned the recent attack carried out by Israel, emphasizing that this assault deliberately targeted the security and stability of Qatar. He said that Israeli attack on Qatar is a clear violation of international law and Qatar’s sovereignty.

He stressed that Turkiye stands with all its capabilities alongside the allied and strategic partner, friendly state of Qatar. He noted that "Israel’s stance of rejecting a ceasefire and its intent to undermine all mediation efforts is once again clearly manifested through its targeting of Hamas’ negotiation delegation while they were working on the proposal submitted by U.S. President Donald Trump."

Göksu pointed out that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized that “in the face of this attack, which constitutes a clear violation of international law and Qatar’s sovereignty, Türkiye stands with full capacity alongside our Palestinian brothers and our strategic partner and allied brotherly country Qatar, affirming that this attack reveals Israel’s intent to deepen instability in the region.”

The Ambassador added that he would like to reiterate what our President emphasized. Those who turn terrorism into a state policy will never achieve their goals. Türkiye will continue its firm and unwavering stance against Israel’s audacious attacks aimed at dragging the region into disaster. No matter the cost, we will continue to defend peace, international law, and the freedom of our Palestinian brothers."

Ambassador Göksu also emphasized that all political and diplomatic support to Doha on international platforms will continue. Dr. Göksu concluded his statement by saying that Türkiye will continue close coordination with the Qatari leadership and strengthen bilateral cooperation. This attack will not compel our countries to abandon rights and justice, nor will it break the will of the people.

 Statement issued by Embassy of Uruguay

The Government of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay condemns the attacks perpetrated by Israel in the city of Doha, Qatar, and expresses its solidarity with the Qatari government and people. These attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law, the sovereignty and security of Qatar, and aggravate the already deteriorating security situation in the Middle East.

Uruguay reiterates its urgent call not to undermine efforts to reach a substantive negotiated solution to the crisis in Gaza

A statement released  by The embassy of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela 

The Bolivian Republic of Venezuela strongly condemned the cowardly attack by the Netanyahu regime against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the State of Qatar. This aggression constitutes an act of state terrorism, a flagrant violation of international law, and a challenge to the principles of peaceful coexistence among nations.

The attack against the negotiating team seeking a ceasefire in Gaza demonstrates, once again, the true nature of the Zionist enclave: far from seeking peace, it persists in violence and regional destabilization.

Venezuela demands an immediate end to these crimes and that those responsible be brought to international justice. We categorically reject any action that threatens the peace and security of the peoples of West Asia.
