.Doha-based Filipino expatriate forums Association of Filipino Real Estate Executives in Qatar (AFREEQ) and Link Pro Business Events announced is set to host a milestone 6th edition of the Philippine Property & Investment Show Qatar under the theme KABAYAN CONNECT QATAR: Reintegration & Innovation, with B2B Network as main sponsor and official business networking partner.
Nuaira Muhamad, Managing Director of Link Pro Business Events and Chairperson of the event organizing committee addressing the media said that the event is scheduled to hold on 6th of February at the Hotel Crown Plaza Doha. She added that the event is envisioned as a full-day, high-impact conference and exhibition designed to unite Overseas Filipinos in Qatar and across the GCC.
She said that the event aims to promote reintegration, innovation, and sustainable economic empowerment by providing a platform for business collaboration, professional development, and community building.
She shared that the response to the event has been highly encouraging, majority of invited speakers from the Philippines, as well as delegates from various GCC countries, have already confirmed their participation. This strong interest highlights the growing importance of KCQ:RI as a venue for meaningful business engagement and career advancement within the Filipino expatriate community.
The conference will feature a broad range of speakers and exhibitors representing diverse sectors, including agriculture, tourism, real estate and property investment, fashion, wellness, music, washateria services, business networking, and executive education. Participation from select government agencies in both Qatar and the Philippines is also expected, reinforcing cross-border cooperation and support for Filipino professionals and entrepreneurs.
KCQ:RI is being organized in partnership with the Association of Filipino Real Estate Executives in Qatar (AFREEQ), which serves as the Lead Community Organizing Partner. The event also marks the 6th Philippine Property & Investment Show – Qatar, a flagship AFREEQ initiative that has been held since 2015. In addition, the conference will serve as the culminating celebration of AFREEQ’s 10th anniversary, underscoring a decade of service to the Filipino community in Qatar.
Program highlights include forums on the ease of doing business in Qatar, start-up incubation and innovation solutions, and updated real estate insights for professionals operating in the country. With more than 900 online pre-registrations already recorded, organizers expect a strong turnout from the community. Participants attending the educational sessions will receive attendance certificates, while individuals and organizations that have consistently supported AFREEQ and the Filipino community will be recognized through special awards and citations.
The organizers also expressed gratitude for the continued support of the Philippine Embassy in Qatar, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), and the Asian Community Leaders Guild Qatar. KCQ:RI likewise complements the advocacy initiatives of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), which will hold the OWWA Cup and a Mini Serbisyo Caravan at a separate venue on the same day.
Addressing on the occasion, Joseph Timothy Rivera, AFREEQ Founding Chairman and KCQ:RI Program Director, emphasized that the conference goes beyond business discussions. He noted that its learning modules are designed to help Overseas Filipino Workers upskill, plan for retirement, and prepare for long-term reintegration.
Adding distinction to the event, Jeanette U. Gotangogan, Noble Queen Globe 2025, is expected to attend as a distinguished guest. She will lead the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and deliver an inspirational talk on OFW financial literacy, with a strong focus on practical retirement planning.
