The Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye with the support of Expo Doha 2023 authorities commemorated its National Day at Expo Doha 2023, showcasing its vibrant culture, rich heritage, and illustrious history in a remarkable, extraordinary , and distinctive manner, which helped in further projecting the mission of Expo horticulture worldwide as well as added to the great success of Doha Expo 2023 hosted by State of Qatar.
Present on the occasion were Mohammed Ali AlKhouri, Secretary General, Expo Doha 2023; Dr Mustafa Goksu, ambassador of Turkiye; Mehmet Ali Kilichakya, Director General of Exports, Minhistry of Trade, Turkiye, ambassadors, guests and large number of Turkish community members.
In his address, Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Director General Exports, Ministry of Trade, Republic of Türkiye, emphasized the significance of EXPOs as global platforms for communication and collaboration.
He underscored the robust bilateral relations between Türkiye and Qatar, acknowledging mutual support and cooperation across various domains.
Kılıçkaya shed light on Türkiye's pavilion, which showcased the nation's agricultural heritage, technological innovation, and commitment to sustainability.
Mohammed Ali AlKhoori, Secretary General Expo Doha 2023, in his address on the occasion highlighted the attractive investment opportunities within Turkish agriculture, spanning sectors like agricultural technology, stockbreeding, aquaculture, seed production, and greenhouses. Türkiye aims to become one of the world's top five agricultural producers, leveraging its successful experiences and expertise in Expo 2023.
He added that the country seeks to address climate change challenges and present investment opportunities in modern agriculture, urban development, educational institutions, and health facilitie.

Highlighting the festivities were captivating performances by the Janissary (Mehter) band, Turkish folk dances, and mesmerizing whirling dervishes. Workshops featuring aromatic fragrances and arts such as calligraphy, paper marbling, and illumination added an interactive dimension to the celebration.
The tantalizing treats of Turkish cuisine, a perennial favorite, further enhanced the overall appeal of the event.
Turkish Pavilion is spanning on 1,024 Sqm, embodies Turkiye's diverse heritage, lively culture, and progressive outlook through a unique blend of traditional and contemporary elements in its architectural design, immersing themselves in Turkiye's unique charm and its global influence before the conclusion of Doha Expo.
