Foto Exhibition Of Late Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Althani Inaugurated

A Foto exhibition of late Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad AlThani is inaugurated this evening at the Gate Mall, Salam International, Doha. The exhibition of unique pictures of late Emir of Qatar (1972-1995) and grandfather of Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa AlThani is rare collection of founder of Salam International late AbdusSalam Abu Issa. Exhibition will last until 7th of January 2016 at the 1st Floor of Gate Mall.

Present on the occasion were Sheikh Faisal bin Qasim AlThani, Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser Bin Khaled Al–Thani, members of Abu Issa family led by Issa AbdusSalam Abu Issa, dignitaries and members of business community in Qatar.

Salam International is Qatar based one of the largest renowned retailers as well as in hospitality sectors' Paying their tributes to Qatar leadership and to the National Day of State of Qatar, Issa AbdulSalam Abu Issa in his address welcomed the guests and said ' The launch of this exhibition is a special occasion - Qatar’s National Day and Qatar’s leaders hold a place of great importance, in our hearts and minds.' 'This evening, we want to honor both', said Issa AbdulSalam Abu Issa.

Issa AbdusSalam Abu Issa said 'As a pioneering company engaged in the fine art of photography, for almost seven decades – we believe Salam has a very special role. First, we have a duty to preserve this nation’s memories, then we have a responsibility to share them with everyone – with Nationals, expatriates, people of this region and the world.'

He said that 'this exhibition recognize's not only Qatar’s National Day but also the wise leadership of this country, We deeply value the vision of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar and Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani. the Father Emir. Their tireless efforts have made Qatar what it is.'

'Through this exhibition we especially want to pay tribute to the nation’s grandfather Emir, We want to recognize his contribution to Qatar’s progress and honour him for laying the groundwork for the journey of Qatar’s success.'

'You will see that our photography archives contain images of the grandfather Emir at occasions of national significance. Many of them were captured by the hand of Salam’s Founder, my father AbdulSalam Mohammed Abu Issa himself. 'These images and the moments they have recorded must be seen and celebrated' ' 'That is why we are bringing out this collection in honour of late Skeikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani.

Abu Issa wished enjoyable evening by revisiting the past this evening. He paid tributes to Qatar 'You will join Salam as we salute Qatar and its journey into the future'.
