Qatar: Turkish Envoy Appreciates Professional & Responsible Coverage by Qatari Media Members

Dr Mustafa Goksu, ambassador of Turkiye has expressed his deep appreciation for Qatari media and the international media operating in Qatar for their professional, responsible coverage, which embodies the essence of the noble media mission and reaffirms their commitment to the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

He was addressing at annual gala Iftar dinner hosted by him in honour of executives and members of Media at the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha.

He said that Turkish embassy is keen to hold as a testament to the spirit of unity and love through the Iftar table.

He added that his blessed gathering takes place in an atmosphere of goodwill and brotherhood during this month of mercy and generosity, reflecting our deep connection to the noble values of this holy month.

He continued saying that 'Your presence today is a source of pride and appreciation for us, in recognition of the pivotal role you play in conveying the truth with objectivity and professionalism— a role we hold in high esteem amid the current challenges facing the media worldwide.

The blessed month of Ramadan is an invaluable opportunity to strengthen the values of solidarity and communication among us. It is a renewed occasion to weave the bonds of brotherhood and humanity that unite us.

Through you, the pioneers of journalism and media, you are the makers and guardians of truth in the face of attempts at obscuration. Your work serves as a strong bridge that connects nations and enhances cultural and human rapprochement.

Ambassador Dr Goksu said that as we gather today in the spirit of this holy month, we cannot overlook the immense challenges plaguing our region and the Islamic world, where tragedies continue to escalate in many areas, foremost among them our sister nations, Palestine and Syria.

He stressesed on to hold accountable those who target the voice of truth. We also solemnly honor the martyrs of the press, especially in Gaza, who have ascended to the ranks of heroism while carrying out their noble duty.

Despite these great challenges, the spirit of Ramadan remains a beacon that illuminates our paths with renewed hope and unwavering strength. It reinforces in us the values of brotherhood and justice in their most magnificent forms. From this platform, we reaffirm the importance of unity and the need to intensify our joint efforts to build a secure and stable future that elevates our peoples to the heights of dignity and prosperity, he said.

In his concluding remarks paid his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Nebras platform for its generous sponsorship of this Iftar, as their valuable efforts have played a significant role in the success of this event.

Turkish envoy extended his Sincere wishes of Holy month of Ramadan to the leadership, government officials, Qatari nationals, the residents and specially to Turkish community members.
