Dr Ali bin Fetais AlMarri Meets President of Senegal

President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, met here on Saturday with Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, UN Special Advocate and Attorney General of State of Qatar.

Both discussed matters pertainingto activities of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center (ROLACC), ROLACC's future directions within the framework of the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and the projects needed by the African continent, especially Western countries.

Present on the occasion were Saree bin Ali al Qahtani, ambassador of Qatar to Senegal.

During his visit to Senegal, Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri also met with Prime Minister of Senegal, Mohamed bin Abdullah Dionne, and Minister of Justice, Sidiki Kaba.

They discussed a number of topics and to emphasize the continuous close cooperation between the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Ministry of Justice of Senegal to implement the plan of action agreed upon with the ROLACC.

They also reviewed follow-up on implementation of the recommendations from Dakar Conference held in 2015. It was organised by the Senegalese Ministry of Justice and the ROLACC in cooperation of United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
