Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas officially inaugurated on Sunday the Palestinian School in Doha in presence of Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Higher Education of Qatar and Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Palestinian President toured the school and was briefed about it's facilities. Later, he met with academic staff and the students. The School has elementary, middle and high school level of education.

President Mahmoud Abbas presented the two Ministers souvenirs and signed the guestbook.

Foundation stone of Palestine School Doha was laid down in 2006 by Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and then Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Abdel Salam Ahmed Haniyeh.
