China's manned submersible Shenhai Yongshi, or Deep Sea Warrior, returns to the oceanic research vessel Tansuo-1 after its dive in the South China Sea, May 21, 2018.

Well-known geologist Wang Pinxian, 82, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, conducted his 3rd dive in the South China Sea on Monday, and it's also the 76th successful dive of the submersible Deep Sea Warrior.
