The French Embassy in Qatar is organizing the ‘Qatar-France Business and Investment Forum’ on November 25-26, 2018 at Hotel W, Doha, in cooperation with BUSINESS FRANCE – the National Agency for International Development of the French economy – and MEDEF INTERNATIONAL – the Federation of French Entrepreneurs. A delegation of executives from large French corporations and SMEs – specialized in agriculture, food industries, logistics, new technologies, health and services – will discuss during the 2-day forum new export and investment opportunities between the two countries.
French envoy to Qatar Franck Gellet told more than 50 French corporations in Doha will be participating in the Qatar-France Business and Investment Forum.
This event is setting a precedent in Qatar and aims – for the French counterpart – at increasing visibility of its offer and at offering Qatari partners broader business and investment opportunities with France, he said as per the press release.
Following this session, qualified B2B meetings and site visits will be organized, including a visit to the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy for the World Football Cup of 2022, as well as meetings with the French business community in Doha, with the aim of accelerating trade relations between French and local firms.
Qatar represents a very important market for France with exports exceeding 1.3 bn euros in 2017.
