Millipol Qatar 2018 Organising committee met today representatives of various organizations operating in the field of Security Equipment in Qatar . Brig. Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, President Millipol Qatar Committee, Brig. Hamad Osman Al-Duhaimi, Assistant Director of General Directorate of Civil Defense, Brig. Saud Rashid Al Shafi, Assistant DG of General Directorate of Logistics and Supply and Milipol Qatar committee member addressed on the occasion.
President of the Milipol Qatar Committee informed that 12th International Exhibition of Internal Security and Civil Defense will be held at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center on 29-31 October 2018. For the first time, Civil Defense Exhibition and Conference is merged with Milipol Qatar so that everything related to the internal security will come under one roof, he added.
The Ministry of Interior has taken important steps to ensure the utilization of the latest civil defense systems in the State of Qatar. The Ministry continues to raise awareness about public safety by organizing a series of leading conferences, exhibitions, lectures, and training programs. Efforts are in place to develop Milipol Qatar exhibition and provide unprecedented experiences for exhibitors, visitors, buyers and industry professionals.
“In the midst of the continuous changes and developments that characterize our world today, the civil defense sector continues to play an increasingly important role in enabling States to protect their populations in emergencies, disasters and daily challenges, as well as addressing a range of important issues such as crisis management, emergency management and planning and preparedness for civil emergencies, measures and assistance for civil protection.
Milipol Qatar 2018 will highlight a range of state-of-the-art civil defense, monitoring and protection solutions designed to protect the population. This year's edition will also feature live interactive presentations, where exhibitors, visitors and buyers will be able to see first-hand the latest products and innovations in the industry.
The exhibition will also feature seminars, informative presentations, case studies and important discussions in the presence of a group of global thinkers. These seminars will discuss three main topics: cybersecurity, civil defense and security management of major events.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Milipol Qatar Committee called on the local companies in the field of security, safety and civil defense to participate in Millipol Qatar, as one of the most important exhibitions at the global and regional level.
A number of Civil defense companies have officially confirmed their participation in Millpol 2018 including Nafco, the world leader in the production and supply of fire equipment, the Integrated Engineering System (CESCO), Gulf International Trading Company, China Pioneer from China, Haix Schuhe GmbH from Germany, Turbosan from Turkey to name a few.
"Milipol Qatar is a pivotal event that provides unique opportunities for security and safety professionals and security service providers to meet and discuss the most important developments in the security sector under one roof," concluded Brig. Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani. The exhibition also presents the most important internal security solutions and innovations that are essential to any country and thus provides a platform for different countries to see these solutions, build relationships and make contracts.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Milipol Qatar 2018 invited companies operating in Qatar from different sectors to participate in the event and take advantage of the opportunity to play an active role in the internal security of the State and to keep up with the latest developments in the sector.
