Andrew Cuomo, Governor of New York, who has been lauded on his services during pandemic Covid-19 has resigned Tuesday after finding him sexually harassed 11 women, including current or former state employees.
New York Attorney General, Letitia James issued a report in beginning of the month charging Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed 'multiple' women. In an announcement in press conference today, he said that the report and impeachment probe had become a distraction.
' I think that given the circumstances the best way I can help now is, if I step aside and let government get back to governing,” he said. “And therefore that’s what I’ll do.”
