Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of State of Qatar, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi received on Monday a copy of the credentials of Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar Muhammad Amir.
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs wished the Ambassador success in his duties, assuring him of providing all support to advance bilateral relations to closer cooperation in various fields.
Ambassador Muhammad Amir has served as Lt. General in Pakistan's land forces, his last posting before retirement from the Pakistan Army was Corps Commander Gujranwala.
The tenure of a diplomat in Pakistan services is of around three years, Dr Mohammad Ejaz, the immediate past ambassador to Qatar is reassigned to Belarus, before completing his almost last year of service before retirement.
