National Assembly of Pakistan ousted Cricketer turned politician Prime Minister Imran Khan after he lost his majority in the parliament. He was charged on maga corruption, destruction of economy, bad governance, incompetence and damaging inter-States relations.

Shahbaz Sharif, Opposition Leader of the House, former Chief Minister of Punjab and younger brother of three times elected former Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif will be the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

National Assembly of Pakistan with overwhemly votes of 174 in a No-confidence Motion against Imran Khan sent back former cricketer turned politician to the pavilian.

Dozens of Imran Khan's party PTI parliamentarians wanted to participate in voting against their own leader Imran Khan,  were not allowed by the opposition to join them as opposition cast votes 174 exceeded than the required votes of 172 to oust sitting Prime Minister through democratic process.

No Confidence Vote was brought by the opposition in parliament on 8th of March 2022. Speaker of National Assembly as per the constitution was bound to call session within 14 days to discuss and vote for or against the motion.

Upon over sighting the constitution by Speaker Asad Qaiser,  against the rules and regulations, President Arif Alvi dissolved the assembly on Prime Minister Imran Khan's proposal.

Pakistan constitution does not permit Prime Minister upon acceptance of No Confidence Motion in Assembly Secretariat to ask President to dissolve the national assembly.

Due to Imran Khan's facist and undemocratic attitude, he thrown himself in isolation - distance from bureaucracy, away from courts, distance from allied political parties and distance from his own sincere close party leaders and financers.

Imran Khan used various tactics to delay fullfilling the constitutional requirement even tried to use failed public pressure on gaining emotional support by campaigning the US threat to oust Imran Khan from power through no-confidence move.

On delaying tactics on No Confidence Motion, and later dissolving of National Assembly by the President on PM advise, Supreme Court took Suo Moto action and rejected the dissolution orders of National Assembly by the President of Pakistan.

Supreme Court also ordered to convene NA Session on  Saturday, 9th of April morning and to conduct No Confidence Motion before 1030 AM.

Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the lower house had adjourned the crucial National Assembly session multiple times, which commenced at 10.30pm on Friday morning, without holding the voting.

Watching the situation  Supreme Court called its meeting at 1030pm to take action, if it finds non- implementation of orders before 1200 mid-nigjt. Prisoners bus was also seen in National Assembly premises.

Just a few minutes before close to 1200pm, Speaker Asad Qaiser of the house stepped down from his position as speaker. he invited former National Assembly Speaker and  PML-N parliamentarian Ayaz Sadiq to conduct the voting on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“I have decided to resign as speaker of the National Assembly,” said Asad Qaiser.

Imran Khan before leaving Prime Minister House talking to his cabinet members threatened incoming government that he will not let it work peacefully.
