Imran Khan, former and ousted Prime Minister of Pakistan, former Chairman and founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a political party in Pakistan, is awarded 10 years of jail term today by the Special Court, set up under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).
Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain prepared the questionnaire after the cross-examination of all the 25 prosecution witnesses was completed.
The proceedings were held inside the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi.
Senior Vice Chairman of PTI, and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi (Served as Foreign Minister) also entered the final stage on Monday, as the court prepared a questionnaire for the accused to record their statements under Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
