Pakistan's Top Nuclear Scientist Dr AQ Khan, 85, Passed Away

Father of Nuclear and Missiles programs of Pakistan,  Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, 85, passed away in Islamabad today, on Sunday morning.

As per media reports, he died after being transferred to a hospital with lung problems.

National hero and three times presidential awards decorated scientist was badly humiliated and house arrested post nuclear blasts by military ruler coward, fugitive Gen. Pervez Musharaf after dismantling democratically elected government in Oct. 1999.

Gen. Pervez Musharaf pleasing Western aggressive anti-Muslim forces charged nation's nuclear scientist Dr AQ Khan involving in nuclear proliferation scam for 90 minutes in his live televised address in English on national television channel.

General public of Pakistan condemned then military ruler's humiliation act against nation's father of nuclear program.

Dr. AQ Khan contributions towards nation's nuclear, missile and space program is a golden chapter in Pakistan's history.

His funeral prayers were carried out in main Faisal Masjid, Islamabad followed by Asar prayers. Funeral prayers were led by Prof. Dr. Mohammad AlGhazali, Hon. Member Shariat Appellate Bench.

He will be burried in H-8, Islamabad, graveyard. Although, Prime Minister Imran Khan has tweeted earlier Dr Khan body to be burried in Faisal Masjid area. Hero of Afghan-Soviet War (1979-89), Gen Zia ul.Haq is burried in Faisal Masjid grounds.
