The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) recently participated in the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (YEA) China Summit and Global Innovators’ Conference in Beijing, China.
The YEA supports a global network of young entrepreneurs and organisations in collaborating, deepening, and advancing entrepreneurial activities. The two-day gathering included a wide ranging program of sessions exploring new horizons in technology, e-commerce, social enterprise, music and the arts.
Elyas Felfoul, Chief of Administration of WISE took part in a panel focusing on the education and training that young entrepreneurs need in order to grow and lead their businesses.
The G20 YEA called for governments to implement a number of provisions, including supporting entrepreneurship education to address the challenge of youth job creation, eliminating bureaucratic impediments to small and medium enterprises, and encouraging university-business partnerships to support accelerator and funding programs.
