Qatar Airways was chosen as the Middle East Airline of the Year at the 10th annual Aviation Business Awards held in Dubai .
Qatar Airways was chosen on the back of the airline’s global network, modern aircraft, and luxurious Business Class service for providing them with an exceptional travel experience.
Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive, Qatar Airways said on the occasion that it was a demonstration of the airline's commitment to delivering with the very best travel experience to customers.
It is to note that The carrier has launched a number of routes during 2016 including Adelaide (Australia), Atlanta (USA), Birmingham (UK), Boston (USA), Helsinki (Finland), Los Angeles (USA), Marrakech (Morocco), Pisa (Italy), Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), Sydney (Australia), Windhoek (Namibia) and Yerevan (Armenia).
Qatar Airways plans to increase it's network during next few months and may add Krabi (Thailand) and Seychelles to it's portfolio.
