The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Ningxia (China) led by Wang Heshan, Vice Governor of the Province. Present on the occasion were members of the accompanying delegation and officials of Economic and Commercial section of Chinese embassy in Qatar.
Chinese delegation was received at the GOIC’s HQs in Doha by Dr. Ali Bin Hamed Al-Mulla, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector, Shamlan Al-Jeheidli, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Information and Studies and GOIC heads of departments.
Dr. Al-Mulla in his presentation on GOIC said that Organization supports any Gulf-Chinese cooperation initiative and assured that GOIC was ready to cooperate with Chinese counterparts to promote the Gulf industrial sector and strengthen relationships between GCC countries and China.
Wang Heshan addressing on the occasion lauded GOIC key role. He presented an overview of the China-Arab States Expo 2017 to be held in Ningxia in September 2017.
Heshan stressed on GOIC’s support to invite representatives from GCC chambers of commerce and industry to participate in the forthcoming event.
Shamlan Al-Jeheidli offered a brief of it's services that GOIC may provide to the exhibition including inviting corporations and institutions through Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC) since GOIC enjoys strong relationship with the Federation.
Al-Jeheidli offered providing data of Gulf industrial firms registered in the Organization’s databases.
Both sides agreed on the importance of enhancing Gulf-Chinese relation in areas including commercial, industrial and economic areas for the benefit of both parties and to contribute to the advancement of the Gulf economy in particular.
