United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari public shareholding company and master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Island, has obtained five certifications for developing and implementing an Integrated Management System conforming to internationally recognized standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Among these certifications include ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) and ISO 18788 (Private Security Operations Management).
This international recognition was awarded to UDC by Alcumus UK after a comprehensive and extensive external audit of Company's public services delivered to residents and visitors of The Pearl-Qatar. These services cover Community Management, Co-Owners Association Management services (hard and soft services), Landscape, Building and Utility Maintenance of common areas.
Ibrahim Jassim Al Othman, UDC President, CEO and Member of The Board said: "Achieving these ISO certifications, is a key milestone for UDC and a fundamental pillar for establishing a performance and result-oriented culture based on quality in the implementation and management of our projects and service delivery, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
