16 Prayer Leaders & Teachers Attended Holy Quran Training

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs conducted week-long training course on Holy book of Quran for a group of Imams and teachers from Kyrgyzstan.

The course was held at Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center during March 19 to 25 in coordination with Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani Holy Quran Contest under a programme offered to non-Arabic speakers. .

Speaking with www.asiantelegraphqatar.com on the occasion, Nuran Niyazaliev,ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to State of Qatar said that 16 Imams from Kyrgyzstan first time attended a course on Quran in Qatar. It was jointly organised by Ministry of Endowment & Islamic Affairs of Qatar and Kyrgystan . He said that participants 'enjoyed the program and learned new methods and new techniques of teaching Quran and we look forward cooperation in future'.

Upon completion of week long course, a certificate presentation ceremony was held at the Ministry of Endowment & Islamic Affairs of Qatar. Along with the participating Imams, present on the occasion were Nuran Niyazaliev, Kyrgyz Ambassador to Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Mehinna Al Marrai, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani Holy Quran Contest and number of officials of the Ministry.

Later, dinner was hosted for the guests
