Today on Sunday morning, Doha Ritz Carlton Hotel started witnessing arriving of 600 guests from various parts of the world to attend an Indian marriage ceremony.

Simple but graceful groom mother in fluent English told that 600 guests from various parts of the world will be flying in to attend her son's wedding. She told that both bride and groom family members have already arrived in Doha, both belong from India. As per earlier media reports, 'bride and groom belong to prominent Indian families and were looking for a destination with a difference to host their dream wedding'.
Hotel Ritz-Carlton Doha with sprawling beachfront got recently it's rooms renovated is exclusively booked for the Indian wedding.
Visa-free entry for Indians into Qatar is one of the reasons for bride and groom families to choose Doha as Wedding destination.
Extravaganza marriage ceremonies in rich Indian families are known to be of enormous spectacles with festivities for couple of days gets media attraction and are memorable affairs for the couple families, their guests and the readers.
Erden Kendigelen, General Manager, Ritz-Carlton Doha disclosed recently at a press conference 'We made first contact with the wedding parties 12 months ago and started serious planning 10 months back. The first meeting with the fathers of the bride and the groom took over 11 hours which is quite a record for us. Over 1,000 guests are expected to attend the three-day celebrations. They will get to experience the newly-renovated rooms, suites, Club Lounge and Spa as well as the bespoke service.'
He said 'All of our service professionals will provide the legendary Ritz Carlton experience and instill genuine care and comfort that we are recognised for'.
“Our ultimate goal is to promote our destination and showcase the proud Qatari heritage while our guests experience a memorable, unique and unforgettable comfort that will stay with them forever,' said Erden Kendigelen.
Kendigelen disclosed to media that two containers full of wedding preparation items, including special utensils to cook the specialised Indian cuisine as well as décor items have arrived from India.
The hotel staff have been prepping the hotel for months to get it ready to cater to the prominent guest list.
Famed Indian pop band Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy are expected to perform during Day 2 of the festivities. He added that a special team has been formed to take care of the guests, right from the arrival at the airport to their departure, and assist them throughout the 3-day event.
