Almost double size of visitors comparing to 2016 Summer Festival and earlier years witnesses both the citizens and residents of Qatar enjoying their free time along with their children at the 'Made in Qatar' summer festivities.
Adil Ahmed, CEO of QSports paid his gratitude to Qatar Tourism Authority, Ministry of Municipality & Environment, Civil Defense Department & other related security departments of Ministry of Interior of their prompt support and facilities in organizing over two months long highly reputed Annual Summer festival in Qatar.
Talking in an exclusive interview with 'www.asiantelegraphqatar.com', Adil Ahmed lauded the support and large participation of local entertainment & hospitality sector and making the festival attractive for visitors and so successful.
'There are a number of visitors of various nationalities visiting even more than 2-3 times a week' told by Miss Sofia, Event Director at QSports, Organising company of Qatar Summer Festival, an annual event of Qatar Tourism Authority.
Summer Festival took off on 25th June 2017 and will entertain all ages of visitors with awesome rides, tons of games, life-size fun, and even live shows every day, non-stop entertainment at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (QSF Entertainment City), West Bay Doha.
'Having a fear of reducing of visitors from blockade of Qatar by neighboring brotherly countries from where a sizable visitors along with their children have been visiting to enjoy during their school vacations, we were amazed to record almost double in size of local visitors in first week of the festival of around 35,000 comparing to 19,000 last year in first week,' said Adel Ahmed. ' It is a proof of Qatar's ability to hold large size events of international standards all by itself without depending upon any kind of outside support ', Adel Ahmed said.
On question of any challenges faced due to blockade from neighboring states, Adel Ahmed told as most of the logistics like previous years, this year also were arranged through blockade brotherly states, and unexpected sad situation had stopped all our shipments. there was no even time for us to arrange in such a short time. However, we decided that this is the time that we have to rise high Qatar's name, therefore, with the full support and facilities by Qatar Tourism Authority, Ministry of Municipality, Civil Defense and all stakeholders stood hands in hands and today we see much better and more successful 2017 festivities 'All Made in Qatar'.
This blockade blessing in disguise has opened large local avenues and given confidence.
' Today we stand with pride that without involvement of any int'l company, it is only and only by the Qatari companies we are able to provide this entertainment and of international quality and standard, Ahmed was telling proudly. He told that all feedback from visitors has been very satisfactory and encouraging.
