Pakistan Popular TV Talk Show Khabarnaak Recorded in Doha

Pakistan's popular TV Talk Show 'Khabarnaak' team recorded episodes in Hotel Sapphire Doha. Earlier since arrival two days before their recordings, the crew led by it's presenter Aftab Iqbal and Producer Asif Raza with accompanying artists visited various popular places in Qatar and recorded scenes.

Presenter Aftab Iqbal, who is also a renowned columnist lauded the fast development of Qatar. He paid his gratitude to host and main sponsor of his visit to Qatar Shahzad Moghul, a Pakistani businessman for generous hospitality and care. He thanked Nazakat Ali Khan, Chief Organisor of the event and President of Punjab Music Group, a Pakistani community's forum for his dedicated efforts in making 'Khabarnaak' visit successful. Khabarnaak was first aired in September 2010 and covers current affairs and social issues in light and humor way.

It is first time that any TV program telecast from Pakistan is recorded in Qatar. Among renowned artists accompanying Aftab Iqbal include Ruby Anam, Honey Albela, Nasir Chinioti

Aftab Iqbal has served as Merdia Advisor to Chief Minister of Punjab from 1994-5. He holds Master's Degree from Government College University Lahore and have done some studies in history at San Jose University, California, USA. He is a regular writer with his column 'Buk-Up' with English Daily ' The News '.
