The two parties also agreed to hold follow-up meetings in the coming days to ensure the sustainability of the ceasefire and verify its implementation in a reliable and sustainable manner, thus contributing to achieving security and stability in both countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar's hope that this important step will contribute to ending tensions on the border between the two brotherly countries and form a solid foundation for sustainable peace in the region.

Heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of Pakistan and Afghanistan for reaching a ceasefire agreement during the Doha Mediation Talks. A great step toward lasting peace, understanding, and prosperity in the region.
Grateful to Qatar for its sincere and effective mediation efforts that helped Pakistan and Afghanistan agree on an immediate ceasefire. Qatar continues to be a beacon of peace and reconciliation in the region.
Fighting between two brothetly states was not in the intrest of anyone.
Good thing is that negociation held in a brothetly Islamic country which is very much appreciated.
Turkia also played very important role.
Qatar proved itself to be neutral mediator, which resulted in bringing both the parties on the table.
They agreed to continue the talks and end the fighting immediately.
The ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan is indeed a welcome development and a positive step toward regional peace. Stopping the bloodshed along the border will help save innocent lives and reduce tensions between the two neighboring nations. However, true success will depend on how sincerely both sides, especially Afghanistan, implement the agreement on the ground. Pakistan has long suffered from cross-border terrorism, and now it is time for Afghanistan to prove its commitment by preventing terrorist infiltration. Mutual trust, strict border control, and continued dialogue are essential for lasting peace. If both countries stay sincere, this could mark a new chapter of stability and cooperation in the region.
Afghanis are unreliable people. Arrogance, deceit is their nature. The Doha agreement is definitely a positive step forward for peace. But unreliability of Afghan regime should always be kept in mind. Pakistan should never lower its guards
