Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad AlThani Passes Away in Age 84

Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad AlThani, former Emir of State of Qatar from 1972 - 1985 passed away in age 84 on Sunday 23rd October 2016.

He was grandfather of present Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad AlThani.

Qatar will observe three days of mourning, the Emiri Diwan announced as per Qatar News Agency.
