Regarding Barzan Holdings' participation in the 15th Milipol Qatar, Al Kuwari noted that the company showcased its range of innovative products and solutions, including sections on Autonomous Systems and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance). Key projects from the Engineering and Systems department, such as Talaa, C2 systems, AI applications, and the PAVO group, were highlighted.

He mentioned two new initiatives: a call for engineering ideas and a recruitment drive for engineers. Other displays included the Small Arms and Ammo Area featuring Barzan Industrial Group (BIG), Bindig, Barood Ammunition Factory, and Ettad—an internally developed software platform.

Al Kuwari elaborated on the Military Personal Equipment area, which spotlighted ATTAD Trading, formerly known as Qsur, along with dedicated sections for Military Vehicles and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, where visitors could learn about Barzan Maintenance Shield and BQ solutions.

He also discussed training services, emphasizing Barzan’s involvement with the 401 Special Operations Training Centers.

On Barzan Holdings' contributions to Qatar's development, Al Kuwari stated that the company is committed to building defense capability companies and becoming a knowledge hub, advising on key technologies and facilitating next-generation developments. Through its diverse investments and joint ventures, Barzan Holdings is addressing the needs of various military and security sectors, keeping Qatar at the forefront of current and future market opportunities.

When asked about Barzan Holdings’ role in Qatar's knowledge-based economy and National Vision 2030, Al Kuwari emphasized that capacity building and human development are central to their strategy, focusing on enhancing local expertise in defense and security through educational partnerships and staff development.

Looking ahead, Al Kuwari stated that by 2025, Barzan aims to expand its MRO coverage for naval systems and enhance its land systems capabilities.
